QuestionRecently, my dad gave me a Model 1886 Winchester .45-70 rifle, originally a blackpowder-cartridge gun. Are there any modern cartridges or companies that make ammo that would be safe to fire in this rifle? It has been evaluated to be in "very good" conditions by local gunsmiths and was last fired in 2004.- R.A., Jacksonville, Fla.
